Mr. Land is probably rolling in his grave. Polaroid has announced that the company will no longer manufacture and distribute the trademark instant photograph film. Polaroid may come out with a “Bridge Camera” that can take a photo and print it out, Interesting…Can’t wait to see what Zen can do with that. We will have to see what develops…

What would he think now?

Posted on January 21st, 2008 by i420 • 2 Comments »

“And then I got to Memphis. And some began to say the threats, or talk about the threats that were out. What would happen to me from some of our sick white brothers? Well, I don’t know what will happen now. We’ve got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn’t matter with me now. Because I’ve been to the mountaintop. And I don’t mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. And I’m happy, tonight. I’m not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord”MLK

I think he would be pissed off. Do what you can to make your world a better place. Love someone.

Those that know me well also know I like to play some chess.

This man was a genius. “They [media] constantly use the words eccentric, eccentric, eccentric, weird. I am boring. I am boring!” Things did get a little strange…no alot strange towards the end. A very interesting man none the less

“I met him once. I shook his hand. He signed a $5 NZ note that I have framed.

Sir Edmund Hillary died today. He was 88. He lived a full and meaningful life. Climbing Everest with Tingzing Norgay was only part of it.

He was a bee keeper. He was a good man.

He will be missed.” quoting bmwloco

moog.jpgHey, all - 420 posted this on the board, but I thought I’d bring a little more attention to it.

When I was a kid, Bob Moog was “Uncle Bobby,” and his musical legacy is exceptionally important. I hate to hear about this kind of thing, and I would be remiss if I didn’t try to help in my own freakinway.

Check it out, pass it on if you know of anyone or anyone who would know of anyone.

Moog Foundation Looking for Qualified Archivist

Really, Freaks - this man’s contribution to music cannot be over-stated.

Thanks for listening. We now return you to your regularly scheduled pissing and moaning.
